Connecting a Domain Name

Connecting a custom domain name to your Krop Portfolio Site will enable visitors to access your site more easily.

General DNS Instructions

1. Log in to your domain registrar or DNS hosting provider. This is most likely the provider you used to register your domain name. Popular registrars include Network Solutions, Register.com, and Hover.com.
2. Locate the domain you want to assign to your Krop portfolio in the management dashboard of your registrar, and navigate to the DNS Management area.

3. Edit the host records so that the following two records are configured for your domain:

   
   

   @ →  52.205.95.21 ("A" record)

   
   

   www →  yourdomain.com (CNAME record)

   
   

   (Enter your actual domain name, not literally yourdomain.com)

4. Click the Save button to finalize your DNS changes.
